September is Prostate Cancer Awareness Month
The calendar fills up quickly in September as families return to a packed routine after quieter summer days. Unfortunately, your health might take a backseat to your busy schedule. So make a note on your calendar that September is Prostate Cancer Awareness Month, and remind yourself—or the men in your life—about the importance of a healthy prostate.
Washington, D.C.— Congressman Chuck Fleischmann (TN-03) issued the following statement after voting in support of the Make America Secure and Prosperous Appropriations Act (H.R. 3354):
Due to the combined efforts from the Tennessee State Parks, the Federal Highway Administration, National Parks Service and the Tennessee Department of Transportation, the Nemo Bridge in Morgan County will undergo restorations and rehabilitation to ensure the bridge meets safety requirements for foot and automobile traffic. Congressman Chuck Fleischmann accompanied Deputy Commissioner Brock Hill among others to celebrate the over 1 million dollars in grants and donations.

Washington, D.C.— The morning of June 14, 2017 began in a light hearted manner as members of Congress, accompanied by staff, friends, and family practiced for the annual Congressional Baseball Game. Unfortunately, the practice soon took a turn for the worst. It is irrefutable that all police officers are heroes, but the series of events which occurred that morning reaffirmed this fact once more.
