STATEMENT: Fleischmann on FY18 Budget Resolution

"Today, the House passed a conservative budget that will open the door to massive relief for families in Tennessee struggling with the broken tax code while also addressing the status quo of wasteful deficit spending. We can no longer accept that over 60 percent of federal spending is being funneled into mandatory spending programs. This budget is balanced, fair, and benefits East Tennessee, and I was proud to give it my support."
