Military Academy Nominations
The honor of attending a service academy comes with the obligation and commitment to serve in the military for a minimum of five years upon graduation.
Internships

Washington, D.C.

In my Washington, D.C. office, internships run throughout the fall, spring or summer semesters for college students. Although all internships in all offices are unpaid, students gain valuable work experience. The hours are flexible to accommodate students' hectic course schedules, but generally run 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. when Congress is in session, and 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. when not in session.

Help with a Federal Agency
If you can't get an answer from a federal agency in a timely fashion, or if you feel you have been treated unfairly, our office may be able to help resolve a problem or get you the information you need.

Tours and Tickets
Request tickets and tours for various Washington D.C. destinations. All tickets are provided to constituents on a first-come, first-served basis so request tickets early.

Congressional App Challenge

I am pleased to invite students from the 3rd Congressional District of Tennessee to participate in the 2021 Congressional App Challenge. The Congressional App Challenge (CAC) is a competition designed to highlight the value of STEM education and encourage student participation in coding and computer science. Students are encouraged to register online by September 10th before submitting their app by November 1st.
