WASHINGTON− This morning, the House of Representatives passed H.R. 240, the Department of Homeland Security Appropriations Act. Rep. Chuck Fleischmann, a member of the Homeland Security Appropriations Subcommittee, released the following statement after the vote.
WASHINGTON− This evening, Rep. Fleischmann, a member of the Homeland Security Appropriations Subcommittee, spoke on the House floor in support of the Department of Homeland Security Appropriations Act. This legislation will completely defund President Obama’s executive amnesty.
WASHINGTON− Today, the House of Representatives voted to pass H.R. 3, Keystone XL Pipeline Act. After the vote, Rep. Fleischmann released the following statement.
“The Keystone XL Pipeline is critical for our nation and its economy. Not only will the pipeline create over 42,000 jobs for the American people, but additionally, it is expected to bring in a total of $2 billion in earnings. With the new majority in Congress and all hurdles resolved, the time to build is now. I sincerely hope President Obama will listen to Congress and support this pipeline.”
WASHINGTON− Today, President Obama arrived in Tennessee to make an announcement regarding the launch of two new initiatives. After the President’s announcement, Rep. Fleischmann made the following statement.
