Congressman Chuck Fleischmann participated in the Congressional Football Game for Charity as a player on the Mean Machine, a bipartisan team of members of Congress and former NFL players. The Mean Machine took on the Guards, a team of Capitol Police officers.
Chairman of the House Armed Services Committee, Rep. Mac Thornberry, joined Congressman Chuck Fleischmann before their visit to Oak Ridge. The congressman talked about plans for defense spending going forward, and how it will affect Oak Ridge and national security.
