WASHINGTON− The House of Representatives passed legislation to authorize funding for a new lease and expanded Veterans Affairs clinic in Chattanooga, Tennessee. This veterans’ package has been approved by the House and Senate Conference Committee. This expansion of the VA clinic in Hamilton County is the fourth huge victory for veterans in the third district this year.

WASHINGTON− Last night, the House of Representatives approved the 2015 Energy and Water Development, and Related Agencies Appropriations bill. The legislation provides annual funding for national defense nuclear activity, including much of the vital work that takes place in Oak Ridge, TN as well as the Army Corps of Engineers.
