Fleischmann to Tour the Dewatering of Chickamauga Lock

Washington, D.C.— On Wednesday, August 3, 2016 Congressman Chuck Fleischmann will visit with U.S. Army Corps of Engineers officials for an update about the ongoing work at Chickamauga Lock and to observe the dewatering of the old Chickamauga Dam's lock. As a House Appropriator, Fleischmann has worked tirelessly to ensure the lock project would receive the nearly $30 million needed for fiscal year 2016.

"My prayers go out to the victims and their families of today's tragic attack in France. Yet again we see a horrible attack at the hands of terrorists--only a couple of days before we pause to remember our own loss in Chattanooga. This must stop," said Fleischmann.
