This afternoon Congressman Chuck Fleischmann (TN-03) spoke on the Floor of the House of Representatives against Obamacare, which is crumbling under its own weight.

Fleischmann Reintroduces the Combating
Terrorist Recruitment Act

Washington, D.C.— Today Congressman Chuck Fleischmann (R-TN) reintroduced, The Combating Terrorist Recruitment Act. Last Congress this critical legislation passed the U.S. House of Representatives twice, with overwhelming bipartisan support.

Fleischmann’s bill requires the Department of Homeland Security to utilize testimonials from former extremists and defectors to counter-message propaganda used in recruitment efforts of terrorist groups like ISIS.

The new chair of the U.S. House Appropriations Committee visited Oak Ridge on Thursday. U.S. Representative Rodney Frelinghuysen, toured Oak Ridge National Laboratory and Y-12 National Security Complex. The visit was hosted by U.S. Rep. Chuck Fleischmann, a Tennessee Republican.
