Energy & Water Chairman Chuck Fleischmann Highlights Groundbreaking Work by America's National Labs

Energy & Water Chairman Chuck Fleischmann (TN-03) participated in a hearing held by the House Committee on Science, Space, and Technology with the Directors of four of America's National Laboratories and questioned the Directors about how the country's National Laboratories are partnering with private sector companies to develop and commercialize groundbreaking technologies such as fusion energy and AI.

As Energy and Water Chairman, Representative Fleischmann is in charge of funding all 17 of America's National Labs, and his Congressional District in East Tennessee is home to the Oak Ridge National Laboratory, which does critical work on new nuclear energy, supercomputing, medical technologies, cybersecurity, and more. Chairman Fleischmann has long said America's National Labs are our national treasures and will always strongly support their important work for the USA.
