Nuclear Cleanup Panel Draws Record Crowd

WASHINGTON− Last night, the Energy, Technology and Environmental Business Association hosted a Nuclear Cleanup Caucus panel discussion with Caucus Chairman Chuck Fleischmann and other members of the cleanup caucus. The Department of Energy panel included Mark Whitney, Acting Assistant Secretary for Environmental Management, Sue Cange, Manager, Oak Ridge Office of Environmental Management, William Murphie, Manager, Portsmouth/Paducah Project Office, Stacy Charboneau, Manager, Richland Operations Office, Jack Zimmerman, Deputy Manager, Idaho Cleanup Project, and Jack Craig, Director, Environmental Management Consolidated Business Center. After the event, Rep. Fleischmann released the following statement.
“This evening, we were honored to have experienced environmental management officials come together to discuss and explore the importance of partnerships for advancing nuclear cleanup. By combining forces and collaborating, we can work together to promote awareness of our nuclear legacy while simultaneously strengthening our cleanup mission.
