Congressman Fleischmann Votes To End Gridlock, Create Jobs
WASHINGTON− Today, the House of Representatives passed H.R. 5682 to approve the Keystone XL Pipeline.
“Today, the House voted in line with the majority of Americans and approved the building of the Keystone XL Pipeline,” Congressman Fleischmann said. “For six years, this crucial project has been cast aside and delayed but it’s time to build. The Keystone XL Pipeline will not only help secure America’s energy future by reducing our dependency on foreign oil, but it will also create over 42,000 jobs throughout our nation. This project is not about politics; this is about American working families and our economy. My hope is that the President and Senate will join the House in putting our hardworking men and women back to work.”
