WASHINGTON, D.C. – Last week marked Congressman Chuck Fleischmann’s first year in Congress.

Since being sworn-in on January 5, 2011, Congressman Fleischmann has been working hard to do the job the people of Tennessee’s 3rd District elected him to do.

Congressman Fleischmann’s first year have included:

  • 949 Roll Call votes – 100% voting record
  • Holding over 300 events, in all 11 counties, throughout the 3rd District
  • Holding over 200 constituent meetings in Washington Office
  • Answering 53,762 incoming constituent letters, emails and phone calls
  • Sponsoring 3 pieces of legislation and co-sponsoring over 90
  • Voting to cut over $1.6 trillion
  • Releasing a 7 point, 33-page jobs plan entitled, “Less Government, More Jobs”
  • Holding 16 town hall meetings in August
  • Holding 8 tele town hall meetings with over 75,000 participants
