Chuck Fleischmann votes against clean debt ceiling raise

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Chuck Fleischmann voted against a clean debt ceiling raise tonight.

“The answer to maxing out one credit card is not to max out another. That is why I voted against the bill tonight that would have raised the debt ceiling without making significant spending cuts and budget reforms,” Fleischmann said.
