Chuck Fleischmann Receives Small Business Subcommittee Assignments
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Chuck Fleischmann announced today that he has been assigned to the Agriculture, Energy and Trade, Healthcare and Technology, and Economic Growth, Tax and Capital Access subcommittees on the House Committee on Small Business.
“As our country continues to battle through these tough economic times, I am more than pleased with my positions on the Small Business Committee, so I can continue my work on behalf of small business owners across America. As someone who operated a small business for over 24 years, I understand the hardships many owners are going through and their desire to return to simply creating jobs and generating capital – not dealing with an over burdensome federal government,” Fleischmann said.
“In my positions on the Small Business Committee I will work to create a business friendly environment that involves much more direction from entrepreneurs, and much less direction from the federal government.”
While serving on these subcommittees, Congressman Fleischmann will be able to work to defund ObamaCare, fight overregulation by the EPA, work towards a better trade policy for our country and oversee the expansion of domestic energy resources.
