Chuck Fleischmann finishes first Constituent Work Week
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Chuck Fleischmann wrapped up his first Constituent Work Week yesterday with a visit to the Y-12 National Security Complex and Oak Ridge National Laboratory.
“These last 12 days I have spent back in the 3rd District have been busy and extremely informative. I would like to thank our House Leadership team for putting together a legislative calendar that allows me to spend a lot of time back home with the people I work for,” Fleischmann said.
“I think it is so important for me to spend as little time in Washington as possible, and return home to be with my constituents and family. I realize that I serve at the pleasure of the people of the 3rd District.”
As well as his visits to Y-12 and ORNL, Congressman Fleischmann’s Constituent Work Week included:
- Touring Hamilton County Business Development Center
- Meeting with Meigs County Mayor Garland Lankford
- Meeting with the Bradley County Chamber of Commerce, including Cleveland Mayor Tom Rowland and County Mayor Gary Davis
