Chuck Fleischmann to announce Economic Excellence Award initiative

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Chuck Fleischmann will be announcing the kickoff of a new award he will be handing out, beginning in the fall, for economic excellence. The announcement will take place on Tuesday, May 17, at the Bradley County/Cleveland Industrial Development Board meeting.

"The free-enterprise system has helped make this country the greatest nation the world has ever known. It is those people who risk everything to start their own businesses and pursue their dreams that drive our economy. I want to recognize those people, and spotlight the great business environment we have in the 3rd District of Tennessee. This is why I am going to be handing out Economic Excellence Awards to those businesses in East Tennessee that embody the true idea of hard work and success," Fleischmann said.
