Host Media Opportunity Before Armed Forces Day Parade

Washington, D.C.— Congressman Chuck Fleischmann and General Robert B. Neller, Commandant of the U.S. Marine Corps, invite members of the media to a press conference on Friday,May 6, 2016, before they attend Chattanooga’s Armed Forces Day Parade. The Congressman and Commandant will give remarks and provide an opportunity for a brief Q&A session.

Participants: Congressman Chuck Fleischmann and General Robert B. Neller, Commandant, U.S. Marine Corps.

The Marine Corps will be the honored Military branch in the parade. Also, this year’s parade will be the first since the July 2015 Chattanooga terrorist attack, in which four brave Marines and one Navy specialist lost their lives.
