WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman Chuck Fleischmann (TN-03) issued the following statement in response to H.R. 6, Democrats’ amnesty legislation:
Fleischmann on Democrats’ Healthcare Legislation: “H.R. 986 is merely another example of Democrats in Washington voting to impose a one-size-fits-all healthcare plan on states and stifle state-led innovation.”
Fleischmann on Release of Mueller Report: “After two years of investigation, thousands of subpoenas, and hundreds of interviews we once again come to the conclusion that there was no collusion.”
Fleischmann Highlights Military Service Academy Day: “These distinguished institutions prepare our young people to become our nation’s finest leaders and protectors.”
Fleischmann Reflects on Trip to Southern Border with President Trump: “When touring the miles of border wall with President Trump, border patrol agents made it clear that thanks to the new wall construction they are safer and able to do their job more efficiently.”

Last week President Obama delivered his State of the Union address to the nation. I was pleased with the president’s tone throughout his speech and his praise for the critical energy mission that is ongoing at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. Unfortunately, most of his speech was much of the same rhetoric and failed promises we have heard before.
