Fleischmann Meets HonorAir Veterans

Washington, D.C.— Today Congressman Chuck Fleischmann welcomed veterans with HonorAir Knoxville to Washington. The veterans are in the nation’s capital visiting the monuments built in their honor.

“As the son of a World War II veteran, I learned firsthand that our veterans are brave, hard-working and the backbone of our great nation. The veterans I was fortunate enough to meet today were no exception,” said Fleischmann.

Pictures of Congressman Fleischmann meeting with HonorAir veterans from Knoxville, Oak Ridge, and Chattanooga at the Air Force Memorial are on the Congressman's Flickr and Facebook pages.

HonorAir Knoxville was established in 2007 and is dedicated to honoring the brave service of East Tennesseans who fought in World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War.
