CHATTANOOGA−Congressman Chuck Fleischmann made the following statement to commemorate Thanksgiving.

“Although our nation, our communities, and our families face many struggles, we have so much to be thankful for. For me, Thanksgiving is about reflection. It is about expressing our gratitude for the gifts that God has given, and enjoying the company of close family and friends.

“While we face many challenges, America remains the greatest and freest nation on earth, a blessing which we should never take for granted. This Thanksgiving, I hope everyone will have a wonderful time in the company of loved ones and close friends. Let us not forget those who serve us in uniform. Their sacrifices ensure our freedom, and we pray for their safe return.”
