Our healthcare system was in need of reform before Obamacare was passed into law. However, instead of fixing our healthcare system, President Obama’s health plan increased costs, introduced greater confusion into the marketplace and placed an excessive amount of power in the hands of the federal government.
We must not only repeal Obamacare but replace it with free market solutions empowering our citizens. This includes putting rational policies into place. Instituting policies that increase market competition will drive down healthcare costs and provide the American people a better healthcare system.
During my time in Congress I have worked to pass healthcare legislation encouraging competition and patient choice. I am committed to lowering healthcare costs and increasing access to patient care. Rest assured I will continue to support legislation that defunds, repeals and ultimately replaces our current healthcare system with free market solutions creating affordable healthcare for all citizens.
